Written & Visual Communication Internship

Written & Visual Communication interns are involved in the creation of communication content for print, online, and multimedia projects. These projects are wide-ranging in size and scope and frequently involve simultaneous development for multiple formats.

Writing projects may include information gathering, interviewing, message development, writing, proofing, and editing of text content. Visual design work may include printed page layout, pre-press preparation, proofing, image editing, development of logos and graphical elements, and website visual design.

While interns should have both solid writing and visual design skills, they are frequently more advanced in one area. Projects will be chosen to suite the intern’s skills while stretching and developing other areas.
